Topics:

• Spray coverage and calibration – Wayne King, Otago Polytech
• Spray programmes – Len Ibbotson (Grape Vision), Blair Deaker (Carrick) and Ian Cunliffe will give a short description of their spray programmes and product use.
• Practical – following these short presentations there will be a practical in the vineyard on calibration and the use of wetable papers to check coverage.

Whilst this might be text book stuff for some of you, following a challenging season last year with powdery some serious thought needs to be given as to how we approach our spray programmes this year. What may have worked previously may now need revising and we encourage you to come along and share your experiences and ideas with each other to ensure we continue to produce the best fruit we possibly can.
